Thanks to friends, supporters and new visitors, Wildflower PR has successfully launched in 2013! Thank you for all the Facebook likes and personal recommendations; because of you we’re delighted to have had both charming new introductions and enchanting projects come our way.
It’s been a personal milestone month for me, with my graduation from my long awaited MSc in Public Policy & Management at King’s College, London. After two years of hard work and doubting whether this would ever actually happen, I can tell you it felt pretty great to be enjoying this moment!
What did I learn? Well, I’ve always been a little weary of ‘top-down’ enterprise; I think my most inspired lesson here was about grass roots community development. This course helped me to articulate what was missing: I think you could call this heart and soul. And of course, it was here I stumbled on the unexpected but happy notion of starting my own business.
In pursuit of that goal, this month has seen a few new bursts of creative colour in the form of new Wildflower projects. We’ll be working on a new lifestyle blog in the U.S. for a renowned food, fashion and fitness enthusiast. Think cute illustrations, bespoke characters and something for Pinterest fans to admire. We’ll also be working with a school in the English West Country, and here in London we hope to see a broadcast firm prosper with our help through a digital advertising campaign.
As you can see, we love the diversity of our clients’ creative ideas so whatever job you have in mind, big or little, we’re happy to offer advice or feel free to send me an email. Until then, thank you for following, and for helping this little business to flourish. Oh, and if you’re looking for a bit of creative inspiration this week, perhaps try the cinematic kind in the form of the new movie “Flight‘? For some pretty spectacular aviation heroics, you can’t beat Hollywood…
‘No-one could have landed that plane like I did’. No, Denzel, they probably couldn’t!
